Shopify category attributes for Suitcases

In Shopify's standard product taxonomy, Suitcases sits at Luggage & Bags > Suitcases. Once a product has this category, Shopify shows the attributes below in the product editor. Filled attributes are structured facts — AI shopping assistants and Shopify's own search and filters can use them to match a shopper's question without guessing from your text.

Bag/Case storage features — Identifies unique storage elements in bags or cases, such as adjustable dividers or external pockets
Examples: Adjustable dividers, Bow holders, Built-in compartments, Clear window, Elastic loops, External pockets, Garment mesh, Hanging toiletry (19 values in total)
Care instructions — Provides guidance for product upkeep, such as hand wash or dry clean only

Carry options — Specifies the carrying methods available for items, such as a handle or shoulder strap

Color — Defines the primary color or pattern, such as blue or striped

Pattern — Describes the design or motif of a product, such as floral or striped
Examples: Abstract, Animal, Art, Bead & reel, Birds, Brick, Bull's eye, Camouflage (51 values in total)
Spinner type — Describes the number of wheels on luggage or suitcases, such as 2-wheel or 4-wheel
Examples: 2-wheel, 4-wheel, 8-wheel, Other
Suitcase handle type — Specifies the style of suitcase handle, for example, side carry or top carry
Examples: Side carry, Telescopic, Top carry, Other
Target gender — Identifies the intended gender for a product, such as female, male or unisex
Examples: Female, Male, Unisex, Other

More specific categories

Shopify recommends the most specific category that fits. Under Suitcases you can choose: Carry-On Suitcases, Checked Suitcases, Kids' Suitcases, Suitcase Travel Sets. A more specific category can come with more attributes.

How to fill them

Open the product in Shopify admin → Category → choose Suitcases (or a more specific one).
The category's attributes appear below it. Pick values that are true for the product — for example, the colors you actually sell.
Only fill what you know. An empty attribute is better than a wrong one.

Many attributes are already in your store in another form: your variant options ("Color: Black, Olive") or words in your title and description ("100% cotton"). Listproof reads those and suggests the matching attribute values for you to approve — it never fills an attribute that isn't supported by your own product details.
