Shopify category attributes for Tables

In Shopify's standard product taxonomy, Tables sits at Furniture > Tables. Once a product has this category, Shopify shows the attributes below in the product editor. Filled attributes are structured facts — AI shopping assistants and Shopify's own search and filters can use them to match a shopper's question without guessing from your text.

  Examples: Acrylic, Aluminum, Bamboo, Beech wood, Brass, Canvas, Cedar wood, Ceramic (58 values in total)
• Leg pattern — Defines the design or print on the product's legs, such as animals or geometric
  Examples: Abstract, Animal, Art, Bead & reel, Birds, Brick, Bull's eye, Camouflage (51 values in total)
• Material — Defines a product's primary material, such as cotton or wool
  Examples: Acrylic, Aluminum, Angora, Bamboo, Biodegradable materials, Brass, Bronze, Canvas (82 values in total)
• Tabletop color — Specifies the color of a table's top surface, such as black or white
  Examples: Beige, Black, Blue, Bronze, Brown, Clear, Gold, Gray (19 values in total)
• Tabletop material — Identifies the composition of the tabletop surface, e.g. plywood, concrete
  Examples: Acrylic, Aluminum, Bamboo, Beech wood, Brass, Canvas, Cedar wood, Ceramic (58 values in total)
• Tabletop pattern — Defines the design or print on a tabletop surface, such as Christmas or solid

• Tabletop shape — Describes the geometric shape of a table's top, e.g. square, kidney-shaped
  Examples: Arrow, Conical, Custom, Cylindrical, Diamond, Flower, Free-form, Heart (22 values in total)

More specific categories

Shopify recommends the most specific category that fits. Under Tables you can choose: Accent Tables, Activity Tables, Folding Tables, Kitchen & Dining Room Tables, Kotatsu, Nightstands, Overbed Tables. A more specific category can come with more attributes.

How to fill them

1. Open the product in Shopify admin → Category → choose Tables (or a more specific one).
2. The category's attributes appear below it. Pick values that are true for the product — for example, the colors you actually sell.
3. Only fill what you know. An empty attribute is better than a wrong one.

Many attributes are already in your store in another form: your variant options ("Color: Black, Olive") or words in your title and description ("100% cotton"). Listproof reads those and suggests the matching attribute values for you to approve — it never fills an attribute that isn't supported by your own product details.
