Shopify category attributes for Tents

In Shopify's standard product taxonomy, Tents sits at Sporting Goods > Outdoor Recreation > Camping & Hiking > Tents. Once a product has this category, Shopify shows the attributes below in the product editor. • Stove jack compatibility — Indicates whether the tent includes a fire-resistant opening for a stove pipe.

More specific categories

Shopify recommends the most specific category that fits. Under Tents you can choose: Bell Tents, Bivy Sacks & Storm Shelters, Bungalows, Domes, Group Tents, Igloo Tents, Pop-Up Tents, Pyramid Tents, Ridge Tents, Rooftop Tents, Sail Tents, Screen Houses & Shelters. A more specific category can come with more attributes.

How to fill them

1. Open the product in Shopify admin → Category → choose Tents (or a more specific one).
2. The category's attributes appear below it. Pick values that are true for the product — for example, the colors you actually sell.
3. Only fill what you know. An empty attribute is better than a wrong one.

Many attributes are already in your store in another form: your variant options ("Color: Black, Olive") or words in your title and description ("100% cotton"). Listproof reads those and suggests the matching attribute values for you to approve — it never fills an attribute that isn't supported by your own product details.
