Shopify category attributes for Hair Accessories
In Shopify's standard product taxonomy, Hair Accessories sits at Apparel & Accessories > Clothing Accessories > Hair Accessories. Once a product has this category, Shopify shows the attributes below in the product editor. Filled attributes are structured facts — AI shopping assistants and Shopify's own search and filters can use them to match a shopper's question without guessing from your text.

More specific categories
Shopify recommends the most specific category that fits. Under Hair Accessories you can choose: Durags & Hair Wraps, Hair Bands, Hair Beads & Cuffs, Hair Bun & Volume Shapers, Hair Combs, Hair Extensions, Hair Forks & Sticks, Hair Nets, Hair Pins, Claws & Clips, Hair Wreaths, Headbands, Ponytail Holders. A more specific category can come with more attributes.
How to fill them
- Open the product in Shopify admin → Category → choose Hair Accessories (or a more specific one).
- The category's attributes appear below it. Pick values that are true for the product — for example, the colors you actually sell.
- Only fill what you know. An empty attribute is better than a wrong one.
Many attributes are already in your store in another form: your variant options ("Color: Black, Olive") or words in your title and description ("100% cotton"). Listproof reads those and suggests the matching attribute values for you to approve — it never fills an attribute that isn't supported by your own product details.
