Shopify category attributes for Handbags

In Shopify's standard product taxonomy, Handbags sits at Apparel & Accessories > Handbags, Wallets & Cases > Handbags. • Bag/Case closure — Identifies the type of closure used on bags or cases, e.g. key lock, velcro
  Examples: Buckles, Button, Clip, Combination lock, Drawstring, Elastic, Flap, Hook & loop (20 values in total)
• Bag/Case features — Describes the unique characteristics of a bag or case, like waterproof or lightweight
  Examples: Adjustable size, Anti-theft, Convertible, Dustproof, Easy to install, Fire resistant, Four-wheel spinner, Internal padding (19 values in total)
• Bag/Case material — Identifies the main material used in a bag or case, such as leather or canvas
  Examples: Acrylic, Alcantara, Aluminum, Burlap, Canvas, Carbon fiber, Cordura, Cotton (33 values in total)
• Bag/Case storage features — Identifies unique storage elements in bags or cases, such as adjustable dividers or external pockets
  Examples: Adjustable dividers, Bow holders, Built-in compartments, Clear window, Elastic loops, External pockets, Garment mesh, Hanging toiletry (19 values in total)
• Care instructions — Provides guidance for product upkeep, such as hand wash or dry clean only

• Carry options — Specifies the carrying methods available for items, such as a handle or shoulder strap

• Color — Defines the primary color or pattern, such as blue or striped

• Pattern — Describes the design or motif of a product, such as floral or striped
  Examples: Abstract, Animal, Art, Bead & reel, Birds, Brick, Bull's eye, Camouflage (51 values in total)
• Target gender — Identifies the intended gender for a product, such as female, male or unisex
  Examples: Female, Male, Unisex, Other

More specific categories

Shopify recommends the most specific category that fits. Under Handbags you can choose: Backpack Handbags, Baguette Handbags, Barrel Bags, Beach Bags, Belt Bags, Bucket Bags, Clutch Bags, Convertible Bags, Cross Body Bags, Doctor Bags, Envelope Clutches, Fold Over Clutches. A more specific category can come with more attributes.

How to fill them

1. Open the product in Shopify admin → Category → choose Handbags (or a more specific one).
2. The category's attributes appear below it. Pick values that are true for the product — for example, the colors you actually sell.
3. Only fill what you know. An empty attribute is better than a wrong one.

Many attributes are already in your store in another form: your variant options ("Color: Black, Olive") or words in your title and description ("100% cotton"). Listproof reads those and suggests the matching attribute values for you to approve — it never fills an attribute that isn't supported by your own product details.
