Shopify category attributes for Jewelry

In Shopify's standard product taxonomy, Jewelry sits at Apparel & Accessories > Jewelry. Once a product has this category, Shopify shows the attributes below in the product editor. Filled attributes are structured facts — AI shopping assistants and Shopify's own search and filters can use them to match a shopper's question without guessing from your text.

• Color — Defines the primary color or pattern, such as blue or striped
  Examples: Beige, Black, Blue, Bronze, Brown, Clear, Gold, Gray (19 values in total)
• Diamond color grade — Indicates the color grade of diamonds, from D (colorless) to Z (light color), or denotes fancy color diamonds.
  Examples: D, E, F, Fancy, G, H, I, J (25 values in total)
• Fluorescence grade — Indicates the fluorescence intensity of the diamond when exposed to UV light.
  Examples: Faint, Medium, None, Strong, Very Strong, Other
• Gemstone clarity grade — Clarity grade of the gemstone (when graded).
  Examples: FL, I1, I2, I3, IF, SI1, SI2, VS1 (12 values in total)
• Jewelry material — Identifies the main material used in jewelry items, such as gold or enamel
  Examples: Acrylic, Alcantara, Alloy, Aluminum, Bakelite, Bamboo, Black rhodium-plated, Brass (77 values in total)
• Jewelry type — Distinguishes between types of jewelry, such as fine or imitation jewelry
  Examples: Fine jewelry, Imitation jewelry, Other
• Pattern — Describes the design or motif of a product, such as floral or striped
  Examples: Abstract, Animal, Art, Bead & reel, Birds, Brick, Bull's eye, Camouflage (51 values in total)
• Stone creation method — Specifies whether the stone is natural, lab-grown, simulated, or recycled.
  Examples: Lab-grown, Natural, Recycled, Simulated, Unknown, Other
• Stone cut grade — Indicates the overall cut quality assessment of the stone.
  Examples: Excellent, Fair, Good, Ideal, Not Applicable, Poor, Very Good, Other
• Target gender — Identifies the intended gender for a product, such as female, male or unisex
  Examples: Female, Male, Unisex, Other

More specific categories

Shopify recommends the most specific category that fits. Under Jewelry you can choose: Anklets, Body Jewelry, Bracelets, Brooches & Lapel Pins, Charms & Pendants, Dental Grills, Earrings, Jewelry Sets, Necklaces, Rings, Smart Watches, Watch Accessories. A more specific category can come with more attributes.

How to fill them

1. Open the product in Shopify admin → Category → choose Jewelry (or a more specific one).
2. The category's attributes appear below it. Pick values that are true for the product — for example, the colors you actually sell.
3. Only fill what you know. An empty attribute is better than a wrong one.

Many attributes are already in your store in another form: your variant options ("Color: Black, Olive") or words in your title and description ("100% cotton"). Listproof reads those and suggests the matching attribute values for you to approve — it never fills an attribute that isn't supported by your own product details.
