Shopify category attributes for Blankets

In Shopify's standard product taxonomy, Blankets sits at Home & Garden > Linens & Bedding > Bedding > Blankets. Once a product has this category, Shopify shows the attributes below in the product editor. Filled attributes are structured facts — AI shopping assistants and Shopify's own search and filters can use them to match a shopper's question without guessing from your text.

• Bedding size — Defines the size category for bedding items, e.g. standard, king
  Examples: Single, Twin, Twin XL, Standard, Double, Queen, King, California king (10 values in total)
• Care instructions — Provides guidance for product upkeep, such as hand wash or dry clean only
  Examples: Dry clean only, Dryer safe, Hand wash, Ironing instructions, Machine washable, Tumble dry, Other
• Color — Defines the primary color or pattern, such as blue or striped
  Examples: Beige, Black, Blue, Bronze, Brown, Clear, Gold, Gray (19 values in total)
• Fabric — Identifies the type of fabric used in a product, for example, cotton or denim
  Examples: Acrylic, Angora, Bamboo, Canvas, Cashmere, Corduroy, Cork, Cotton (48 values in total)
• Filler material — Identifies the type of material used to fill a product, typically pillows or cushions; e.g. memory foam, feathers
  Examples: Buckwheat hulls, Cotton, Down feather, Feathers, Felt, Fleece, Memory foam, Microbeads (15 values in total)
• Pattern — Describes the design or motif of a product, such as floral or striped
  Examples: Abstract, Animal, Art, Bead & reel, Birds, Brick, Bull's eye, Camouflage (51 values in total)
• Season — Indicates the season the product is best suited for, such as summer or fall
  Examples: Fall, Spring, Summer, Winter, Other
• Warmth rating — Indicates the insulating level of a blanket, similar to TOG ratings in bedding.
  Examples: All season, Extra warm, Lightweight, Medium, Warm, Other

More specific categories

Shopify recommends the most specific category that fits. Under Blankets you can choose: Electric Blankets, Throw Blankets, Weighted Blankets. A more specific category can come with more attributes.

How to fill them

1. Open the product in Shopify admin → Category → choose Blankets (or a more specific one).
2. The category's attributes appear below it. Pick values that are true for the product — for example, the colors you actually sell.
3. Only fill what you know. An empty attribute is better than a wrong one.

Many attributes are already in your store in another form: your variant options ("Color: Black, Olive") or words in your title and description ("100% cotton"). Listproof reads those and suggests the matching attribute values for you to approve — it never fills an attribute that isn't supported by your own product details.
