Shopify category attributes for Pillows

In Shopify's standard product taxonomy, Pillows sits at Home & Garden > Linens & Bedding > Bedding > Pillows. Once a product has this category, Shopify shows the attributes below in the product editor. Filled attributes are structured facts — AI shopping assistants and Shopify's own search and filters can use them to match a shopper's question without guessing from your text.

• Care instructions — Provides guidance for product upkeep, such as hand wash or dry clean only
  Examples: Dry clean only, Dryer safe, Hand wash, Ironing instructions, Machine washable, Tumble dry, Other
• Cover closure design — Specifies the closure design, typically for pillow covers; e.g. envelope, zipper
  Examples: Envelope, Zipper, Other
• Cover color — Specifies the primary color of a product's cover, e.g. clear, navy
  Examples: Beige, Black, Blue, Bronze, Brown, Clear, Gold, Gray (19 values in total)
• Cover material — Identifies the type of fabric or material used in the product's cover, such as silk or cotton
  Examples: Acrylic, Bamboo, Canvas, Cork, Cotton, Denim, Faux fur, Faux leather (34 values in total)
• Cover pattern — Specifies the visual motif or design on an item's cover, such as floral or tie-dye
  Examples: Abstract, Animal, Art, Bead & reel, Birds, Brick, Bull's eye, Camouflage (51 values in total)
• Filler material — Identifies the type of material used to fill a product, typically pillows or cushions; e.g. memory foam, feathers
  Examples: Buckwheat hulls, Cotton, Down feather, Feathers, Felt, Fleece, Memory foam, Microbeads (15 values in total)
• Filler support — Specifies the firmness level or style of a pillow's interior, such as soft or memory foam
  Examples: Adjustable, Buckwheat, Down, Extra firm, Firm, Latex, Medium, Memory foam (13 values in total)
• Pattern — Describes the design or motif of a product, such as floral or striped

More specific categories

Shopify recommends the most specific category that fits. Under Pillows you can choose: Body Pillows, Knee & Leg Pillows, Neck & Cervical Pillows, Pregnancy & Maternity Pillows, Wedge Pillows. A more specific category can come with more attributes.

How to fill them

1. Open the product in Shopify admin → Category → choose Pillows (or a more specific one).
2. The category's attributes appear below it. Pick values that are true for the product — for example, the colors you actually sell.
3. Only fill what you know. An empty attribute is better than a wrong one.

Many attributes are already in your store in another form: your variant options ("Color: Black, Olive") or words in your title and description ("100% cotton"). Listproof reads those and suggests the matching attribute values for you to approve — it never fills an attribute that isn't supported by your own product details.
