Shopify category attributes for Prints

In Shopify's standard product taxonomy, Prints sits at Home & Garden > Decor > Artwork > Posters, Prints, & Visual Artwork > Prints. Once a product has this category, Shopify shows the attributes below in the product editor. Filled attributes are structured facts — AI shopping assistants and Shopify's own search and filters can use them to match a shopper's question without guessing from your text.

• Artwork authenticity — Indicates the authenticity of the artwork, specifying whether it is an original creation or a reproduction
  Examples: Original, Reproduction, Other
• Artwork frame material — Identifies the material used in art frames, such as wood or gold-plated
  Examples: Aluminum, Composite, Gold, Gold-plated, Metal, Plastic, Silver, Silver-plated (10 values in total)
• Color — Defines the primary color or pattern, such as blue or striped
  Examples: Beige, Black, Blue, Bronze, Brown, Clear, Gold, Gray (19 values in total)
• Frame style — Describes the design or type of frame for artwork, such as modern or rustic
  Examples: Acrylic, Braided, Canvas, Clip, Floater, Framed, Gallery wrapped, Matted (15 values in total)
• Material — Defines a product's primary material, such as cotton or wool
  Examples: Acrylic, Aluminum, Angora, Bamboo, Biodegradable materials, Brass, Bronze, Canvas (82 values in total)
• Orientation — Specifies the product's intended positioning, e.g. horizontal, vertical
  Examples: Horizontal, Vertical, Other
• Pattern — Describes the design or motif of a product, such as floral or striped
  Examples: Abstract, Animal, Art, Bead & reel, Birds, Brick, Bull's eye, Camouflage (51 values in total)
• Print edition type — Classifies the type of edition for the print, conveying rarity and value.
  Examples: Artist proof, Limited edition, Numbered edition, Open edition, Signed limited edition, Special edition, Other
• Printing method — Specifies the printing process, such as offset printing or engraving
  Examples: Engraving, Lithography, Offset printing, Other
• Rarity — Specifies the uniqueness of items, typically for collectibles; e.g. limited edition, ultra rare
  Examples: Common, Limited edition, Promo, Rare, Super rare, Ultra rare, Uncommon, Other
• Theme — Describes the product's primary theme or motif, such as sport, space, or holidays
  Examples: Alphabet, Animals, Anime, Architecture, Art, Beach, Cars, Cartoons (42 values in total)

How to fill them

1. Open the product in Shopify admin → Category → choose Prints (or a more specific one).
2. The category's attributes appear below it. Pick values that are true for the product — for example, the colors you actually sell.
3. Only fill what you know. An empty attribute is better than a wrong one.

Many attributes are already in your store in another form: your variant options ("Color: Black, Olive") or words in your title and description ("100% cotton"). Listproof reads those and suggests the matching attribute values for you to approve — it never fills an attribute that isn't supported by your own product details.
